I typically don't sell vintage clothing, but I just couldn't resist this skirt. Just looking at this wonderful skirt, makes me want to dance. :-) The skirt is made of 100% cotton and features a vibrant, colorful, hand painted scene of mariachi men, a beautiful dancer and a spectacular cathedral. The entire scene is bordered by sombreros and serapes and is the same on the front and back. The waist currently measures 24", but could easily be adusted up to 31" simply by moving the hook and eye closures. The skirt measures 25" long from the top of the waistband to the hem, and is a full circle skirt. This is somewhat shorter than most of these vintage Mexican circle skirts, and I think it makes it much more wearable with today's contemporary fashions. The tag is marked Creaciones Salpra Hecho en Mexico 100% Cotton. The size tag shows it is a size L. There is only one small stain on the front of the skirt. I have not attempted to remove it, because with all of the colors of the skirt, it isn't really noticeable. However, it's noted for accuracy. The fabric is a natural, nubby weave with slight imperfections, but there are no holes or tears in the skirt. The skirt comes from a smoke free home, but I do have a fastidiously clean, juicy white cat named Olivia (however, she's not allowed to borrow my clothes). Overall, this fabulous skirt is in Excellent condition.
