This fabulous vintage necklace is equally gorgeous when worn on bare, tanned skin or a fuzzy pink sweater. The necklace features a total of 61 semi-precious gemstone beads. I am not a gem expert, but have had some assistance in identifying the stones and will describe them to the best of my ability. Of course, you are always welcome to contact me if you have further questions (y'all know I love to chat :-). Included on the necklace are:
24 blue lace agate disc shaped beads - light periwinkle blue w/ white matrix - gloss finish - average 19 mm
7 rose quartz round beads - soft translucent pink - gloss finish - average 15 mm
12 rose quartz round beads - soft translucent pink - gloss finish - average 10 mm
12 cape amethyst round beads - soft translucent lavendar - gloss finish - average 8 mm
6 crystal quartz round beads - translucent - frosted finish - average 14 mm
There may be slight variations in the bead sizes, plus or minus 2 mm. That said, the beads are exceptionally well matched and any variations are not really noticeable. The total weight of the necklace is 179 grams or 6 3/8 oz. The beads are strung on knotted lavendar string, with goldtone hook and eye clasp and can be worn as is. Or, at this price, the beads could also be taken apart and resold individually for a nice profit. I've taken plenty of close up pictures that accurately represent the beads included on the necklace. The string appears to be quite secure, and other than the natural fissures present in rose quartz, there are no chipped or cracked beads. Overall, this stunning necklace is in Near Mint condition.
