The Victorians believed that coral could be used to ward off evil.  If that's true, then this spectacular necklace could take on ol' Beazlebub himself.  It is crafted of branch coral which graduates in width from approximately 1/2" wide to 1 1/2" wide.  The necklace measures approximately 30" in wearable length, which is quite long for a Victorian coral necklace.  It does not have a clasp, but is long enough to easily slip over the head.  It is strung on flexible wire, which appears to be quite sturdy.  Overall, this lovely necklace is Near Mint condition.
